Sharper Than The Sharpest

During the Bible days, the swords the soldiers used in battle were large, heavy, and sharp with two edges. Some other weapons they had in their possession were spears, bows, arrows, and battleaxes. But it seems that the one they treasured the most, was the sword. We as Christians have a sword too that we are to use, and it's sharper than the sharpest, and that's “the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:17 tells us that it’s one of our weapons. How are you going to fight in a battle or war and not have a weapon to use? We are to have this sword in our heart, in our mind, and in our life. But we don't always use this weapon, the Word of God.
