Think about that. God, the Creator of the Universe, The Beginning and The End, Who is our Daddy, HEARS US! The word “hear” in the Greek is akouo (ak-oo'-o), it means TO GIVE (in the) AUDIENCE (of), come (to the ears), ([shall]) hear, be noised, be reported, understand. So, the word “hear” here means to GIVE IN THE AUDIENCE OF and what you ask is being reported to God! The Lord not only hears us asking Him for the needs in our lives, but this also means GIVES us. The word is interchangeable, God hears, He gives! God hears, He gives! Praise God, He hears and He gives! God wants to give us what He hears us ask of Him, and He will do it while the “audience” of others is watching! He wants to show the world through us, He is a GIVER and NOT A TAKER!
