God is Holy and created us in His image to be Holy (Genesis 1:27). The Blood of Jesus has been released so we can be Holy. Wash us Lord and make us clean as a whistle I cry out. Even though this is a phrase that is said maybe in washing cars or clothes, we can still ask God to cleanse us and make us whole. We are to understand that maybe by allowing us to see Holiness as being reachable we can obtain it just as easily. Jesus says whatever we have need for or we desire ask the Father and He will give it to us (John 14:13).
